    I have recently transfer to a new department and now have a 2 hour window of down time and access to a gym mid day. My new position also requires me to walk 4-6 miles per day along with carrying/ pushing loads of up to a few hundred pounds throughout my day.
    I really want to take advantage of my downtime and use the facility that my work has provided.
    I want to focus on some skill work (gymnastics training/oly technique) during this time 2-3 days per week followed up by my regular WOD at my box in the evening. I’m about a week and a half in to my new position and workouts. It’s probably to early to tell if the volume is too much. My heart rate is consistent first thing in the morning.
    Any advice would be helpful.
